Ghodeleine flew home from the back to finish third against two subsequent Saturday winners first up, before bolting in here second up. She has been luckless at her last two starts and looks very well placed coming back in grade with the senior rider going on. Mare in form!

Gabeira (Sandown Lakeside Race 5 No. 3):
Improving type who backs up after an excellent win here on the Hillside track last week. She should get a gun run from her middle gate and looks the clear value in the race after beating race favourite Veronskova home seven days ago.

Cafe Rizu (Sandown Lakeside Race 2 No. 8):
Cafe Rizu is currently rated a $3 chance in race two. She finished third in a weak three year old race at Moonee Valley at the end of July, then fought on well to run second at Cranbourne in a benchmark 70 last start. She trys hard but her form looks inferior to the form that Florent brings into the race – that horse ran well at benchmark 84 level last start and I think she should be favourite here.
