Our Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips for Tuesday’s meeting.

Killourney (Warrnambool Race 3 No. 4)
Provided Killourney doesn’t make any mistakes over the hurdles it looks the winner here. On ratings, all Killourney has to do is repeat any of its efforts last prep to win this race and win it comfortably. Weighted well and drawn well, the $1.95 looks good.

$1.95

Each Way

Over Shady (Warnambool Race 5 No. 1)

I really like the chances of Over Shady in this race despite plenty of these being on debut. Went enormous 2 runs back over this distance and on debut placed behind Yowie who does seem above average. The booking of Hugh Bowman is a good push and the $11.00 appeals.

$11.00

Best Lay

Valac (Warrnambool Race 6 No. 4)

Valac is a talented jumper and has put some good efforts together to date however in an incredibly open race the $2.70 does look thin. Vanguard and Britannicus will make this a very competitive race and I expect Valac to drift.

$2.70

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
