Five year old gelding trained by Joshua Julius at Bendigo. He was luckless first up at Caulfield yet still attacked the line to be beaten less than a length over 1200m. Out to 1400m is much more favourable second up and he gets a positive jockey change. Any rain would only increase his chances.

Cavallo Rampante (Flemington Race 1 No. 9):
Cavallo Rampante has come up the early favourite in the Maribyrnong Trial Plate. She has showed good talent in both of her jump outs but so have four or five of these other debutants. I had her longer than the current price in my market.
