Track and distance specialist who won this race last year. Also took out the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap in March. Strips fitter here after a good run first up and gets a positive weight swing on a number of key rivals.
Five year old gelding trained by Joshua Julius at Bendigo. He was luckless first up at Caulfield yet still attacked the line to be beaten less than a length over 1200m. Out to 1400m is much more favourable second up and he gets a positive jockey change. Any rain would only increase his chances.
