Hopefully barrier 1 is put to use. Marco Sparda was extremely unlucky last start and a repeat effort of that puts it right in the finish. Saves ground from the alley and just needs even luck at the right time to be winning this.

Champinsky (Kyneton Race 9 No. 5)
Has to be some query on the wet ground after being rolled on it a few starts back as a very short favourite. From barrier 5 Champinsky gets the right run but it jumps up a fair bit of depth here and the conditions make it a risky price up in grade.
