Peak Road got the job done as best bet for us today and Pontificate comes out of the same race so I am keen to stick with the formlines. It maps beautifully from barrier 2 for Dean Holland, didn’t have much luck in the run last start and there has already been two winners come out of the race.

Castillian has showed good promise to date and comes out of a strong form race. Billy Egan takes the steer and a recent trial was solid. It strikes a winnable race upon resuming and the $4.60 holds strong appeal in a moderate field.

Georgy The Great (Warracknabeal race 1 No. 3)
Jumpouts were solid enough from Gregory The Great but this race is wide open and the market has it a clear cut favourite. There are 2 main dangers that have both shown plenty of potential so the early $2.60 for Gregory looks a very risky bet. I expect it to drift.

Best Bet Media World (Kembla Grange Race 1 No. 3) This 2yo Colt was sound first up without much luck and looks set for better races than this. Best Bet Grand Horizon (Taree Race 1 No. 3) Gets barrier 1 and this 4yo Mare boasts 2 placings on the track and looks nicely placed against this bunch.
