Holy Sangria (Gawler Race 8 No. 7):
This four-year-old Akeed Mofeed mare trained by John Macmillan at Strathalbyn has two wins and 12 places from 28 starts. She was held up from the 400m to 100m and battled between runners to grab 2nd over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 5 May, then lost her position between runners approaching the turn and didn’t run on for 3.2 lengths 6th over 1550m at Bordertown on 19 May.
