Vivaldi’s Quest (Balaklava Race 9 No. 17)
This eight-year-old Ilovethiscity gelding trained by Matthew Seyers at Murray Bridge has 10 wins from his 51 starts including two wins at this track and distance. He hit the front at the 200m and held on for a 0.3 length win over 1506m at Gawler on 11 May, then was never in it when 8 lengths 8th over 1300m at Balaklava on 8 June. Forgive his last run and he looks a nice each-way bet.

Key Comments The rail is in 4 metres from the 1000m-380m mark and true for the remainder. The best bet looks primed to break through. Best Bet Elba ( Cranbourne Race 2 No. 6 ) Boasts 4 placings to date, all of them in some decent company and now Elba gets its chance to breakthrough. Tackles this off a freshen up, comes up with the pole position and looks poised to give this race a red hot shake. Analyst: Bryce Parker
