Our Gawler Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Southern Swoop  (Gawler Race 2 No. 11)
This three-year-old American Pharoah filly trained by Leon Macdonald & Andrew Gluyas has one win and three places from nine starts. She kept working to the line to grab 2nd over 2112m at Gawler on 11 May. then came from well back in the field for 1.4 lengths 3rd over 2050m at Strathalbyn on heavy going on 1 June. Goes well at this track and is ready to win.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Texan Windstorm (Gawler Race 7 No. 4):
John Macmillan at Goolwa trains this four-year-old No Nay Never gelding who has one win and seven places from 11 starts. He battled on for 3 lengths 2nd over 1100m at Morphettville on 17 December, then was a 1.8 length winner over 1300m at Bordertown on 5 January. Resumes from a 24 week spell and placed at a Murray Bridge trial. Has placed at this track before and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

Betta Eddie (Gawler Race 6 No. 1):
This four-year-old Barbados gelding is the early favourite in this BM 54 handicap over 1200m. He was swamped in the final 75m to finish 1.7 lengths 5th over 1200m at Gawler on 22 May, then peaked in the final 50m when 1.3 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Balaklava on heavy going on 8 June. Willing to risk him on the soft track.

Best Bets Our Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. Redsong (Sandown Lakeside Race 3 No. 13) Redsong is a stayer on the up.  He has hit the line nicely at his last two starts and will be rock hard fit now having his fifth run of the preparation.  Furthermore, he gets Jye McNeil and blinkers on for this.  Should prove hard to beat with even luck in running. $6 Each Way Princess Annalise (Sandown Lakeside Race 5 No. 14) Unbeaten four

Best Bet Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. You can find all of Josh Reed's articles by clicking here. Platinum Class | (Belmont Race 2 No.9) This is a very thin maiden race and I reckon this unraced War Chant filly is worth the bet. Her trials have been good and they have been patient with her, so I think she is ready to put her best foot forward in her debut. She has drawn nicely, and has Chris Parnham aboard, so all going well,
