Our Gawler Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Singleton Park  (Gawler Race 5 No. 4)
This three-year-old Sweynesse gelding trained by Phillip Stokes has one win and two places from 10 starts. He lost position and battled away evenly for 4.4 lengths 7th over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 23 June, then was held up from the turn to the 200m before working home nicely for 0.3 length 2nd over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 3 July. Has drawn barrier one and looks a great chance here.

Zipadee (Gawler Race 7 No. 6):

She fought hard but was no match in the final 100m and finished 3.6 lengths 4th over 1100m at Port Augusta on 6 June, then was let down at the top of the straight and drew well clear for a 5.6 length win in a maiden plate over 1100m at Port Augusta on 20 June. Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 20th April 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes up in race 3 and only needs a pinch of luck from the barrier to be breaking maiden. Best Bet Beautiful View (Horsham Race 3 No. 1) Needs luck from out there but has been around the mark all this prep and Fry is an ideal booking. Does find the right race here and still looms at backable odds. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker Each

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes up in the first race at a short price and is a good multi banker. Best Bet Snippety Star (Orange Race 1 No. 10) All runs to date have been solid and Snippety Star won't get a better chance to win than this. Latham does the riding and the depth here is thin. This race suits and is a good multi banker for the weekend. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes up in the last. Best Bet Mishare (Seymour Race 8 No. 6) Likeable return when running 3rd in a race no harder than this. The kind draw and ideal map makes for appeal and there has been good support come race day. The feature races include the J B Carr Stakes (race 3), Frank Packer Plate (race 4), Hall Mark Stakes (race 5), Jra Plate (race 6), Champagne Stakes (race 7) and the All Aged Stakes (race 8).
