This seven-year-old mare has had 38 starts for seven wins and 10 places and has a good record at this track. She drove to the lead but was headed off at the 150m to finish a length, 1.5 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Strathalbyn on 16 December, then kept chasing gamely to get up right on the line for a 0.2 length win over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 9 January. She has two wins from her last three starts and can win again here.

Master Of Zerprise (Strathalbyn Race 8 No. 10):
This four=year-old gelding has two wins and a place from 17 starts, and always runs an honest race. He chased steadily making ground inthe final 150m for 5.5 lengths 7th over 1800m at Morphettville on 18 December, then didn’t come on in the straight when 5.4 lengths 5th over 2105m at Gawler on 2 January. He can do better than that and is worth an each-way bet.

Celestial Illusion (Strathalbyn Race 2 No. 6):
This three-year-old gelding from the Phillip Stokes stable is the early favourite in this maiden plate over 1350m. He has only had one race start, where he drifted back to 8th then picked up to finish 2.9 lengths 4th over 1100m at Gawler on 2 December after being momentarily inconvenienced at the 50m. He has had a short let-up and looks too short a price in this field.
