Lorne (Morphettville Race 4 No. 7)
This four-year-old Redoubte’s Choice mare trained by Tony McAvoy has only had two starts for a win and a place. She was slowly away and chased steadily for 0.5, 3 lengths 3rd over 1121m at Geelong on 24 March then was spelled for 26 weeks. She resumed for a 3.6 length win in a mares maiden plate over 1100m at Strathalbyn on 23 September, where the 3rd horse was another 5.4 lengths away. She is a nice type of mare who should be able to win here.

Getouttheway (Morphettville Race 5 No. 4):
This six-year-old gelding trained by Sue Nolan at Murray Bridge drops 2kg in weight from his last start. He was always well back and passed a few runners in the straight for 6.2 lengths 6th over 1600m at Morphettville on 10 October, then battled solidly and fought hard for 0.2 lengths, 2.3 lengths 3rd over 1700m at Gawler last start. With the weight drop he looks a nice each-way bet.

Celine (Morphettville Race 6 No. 6):
This four-year-old Puissance De Lune mare is the early favourite in this mares BM 62 Handicap over 1100m. She loomed up at the top of the straight and kept fighting but was unable to reel in the leaders when 0.3, 0.2 length 3rd over 1200m at Strathalbyn on 17 May, then got to 2nd but dropped right out to finish 21 length last over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 6 June. She resumes here from a 21 week spell but has not won first-up before and offers no value.

Best Bet Media World (Kembla Grange Race 1 No. 3) This 2yo Colt was sound first up without much luck and looks set for better races than this.
