After winning his last three races in a row, this four-year-old gelding from the Leon Macdonald & Andrew Gluyas stable is the favourite in this BM 76 Handicap over 2106m. He got a big break ahead of the field and never looked in doubt when he won by 2.2 lengths over 1800m at Morphettville on 17 December, then he chased solidly to get there late for a 0.1 length win over 2040m at Morphettville on 17 December. Looks set to continue his winning streak.

Fighting Mclaren (Gawler Race 7 No. 3):
This four-year-old Fighting Sun gelding trained by Ryan Balfour has three wins and two places from six starts. He resumed from an 11 week break to win by 1.1 lengths over Morphettville on 17 December, then worked home solidly from too far back for 1.5 lengths 5th over 1050m at Morphettville on 26 December. Forgive his last run. He looks a nice each-way bet.

Tequila Time (Gawler Race 6 No. 1):
This six-year-old Stratum gelding is the early favourite in this BM 82 handicap over 1100m. He was a length winner over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 20 November, then chased hard for 1.6 lengths 4th in the Listed Kensington Stakes over 1000m at Flemington on 11 December. Has a massive weight rise from that run and I’m prepared to risk him here.
