Our Morphettville Parks Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Cashin’ Chex (Morphettville Parks Race 2 No. 3)
This five-year-old gelding trained by Ashton Downing has two wins and three places from five starts this campaign. He challenged at the 200m but was grabbed late by the winner for 0.4 length 2nd over 1800m at Morphettville on 25 June, then chased strongly to reel them in during the final 100m for a 1.1 length win over 1500m at Gawler on 9 July. Rates highly and gets a 2kg claim with Ben Price.

Mr Have A Chat (Morphettville Parks Race 6 No. 4)
This four-year-old I’m All the Talk gelding has four wins and six places from 23 starts. He followed a win at Murray Bridge with 5.2 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 2 July, then was leading but was grabbed on the line for 0.1 length 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 16 July. On a seven day back-up and in great form. A solid each-way bet.

Forbidden City (Morphettville Parks Race 7 No. 6)
This I Am Invincible filly trained by Peter Moody is the early favourite in this 3YO BM 64 Handicap over 1250m. She resumes here from am 18 week spell and won a Maiden Plate at Sandown last time she resumed. At her last two starts she was 7.2 lengths 10th in the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes over 1400m on 26 February, and 1.2 lengths 3rd when favourite over 1400m at Sandown on 16 March. There are several last start winners in the race and I’m happy to risk her.

Key Comments The track is rated a Heavy 9 and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. It's a day for mud runners. Best Bet King Yoshi (Sunshine Coast Race 4 No. 3) He had no luck at all when resuming from a break and came home fast late with good closing splits. He had trialled well prior to that and won second-up last preparation. Hard to beat. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each
