Lake’s Folly (Morphettville Parks Race 6 No. 1)
This five-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Michael Hickmott is in great form and is on a seven day back-up. He came from last and after being held up from the 250 to 100m he drove hard for 0.7 length 3rd over 1600m at Morphettville on 26 February. Last start he came from well back in the field to work home strongly and get up late for a 0.4 length win over 1550m at Morphettville on 12 March. The 3kg claim helps and he looks the testing material.

Starspangle Saga (Morphettville Parks Race 8 No. 8):
This four-year-old mare trained by Shane Oxlade at Strathalbyn has two wins and four places from nine starts. She kept fighting the entire straight and finished 4.1 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Strathalbyn on 30 January, then chased strongly and gathered in the leaders in the closing stages for a 0.8 length win over 1050m at Balaklava on 2 March. This is harder but she is worth an each-way bet.

Daring Move (Morphettville Parks Race 3 No. 6):
This I’m All the Talk filly trained by Richard & Chantelle Jolly is the early favourite in this Class 1 Handicap over 1000m. She has only had two starts, debuting for a 1.7 length win over 1050m at Balaklava on 13 February where she used the inside gate to perfection. At her second start she momentarily hit the front at the 200m before being beaten off for 3.7 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks om 12 March. There are several chances in this race and I’m prepared to risk her.
