This four-year-old Squamosa mare trained by Phillip Stokes has one win and two places from five starts. At the end of last campaign she battled away evenly for 2.3 lengths 4th over 1000m at Morphettville on 8 May before a 21 week spell. She resumed for a good 1.7 length win over 1000m at Morphettville Parks and looks ready to go on with the job.

Calypso Reign (Morphettville Race 8 No. 5):
This five-year-old Barbados gelding trained by David Jolly has three wins and three places from 16 starts. He was checked in the straight and lost all momentum before finishing three lengths 4th over 1200m at Morphettville on 10 April, then was always well back before finishing 3.1 lengths 8th over 1200m at Morphettville on 8 May. Resumes here after 23 weeks and is generally strong first-up. Well worth an each-way bet.

Noname Lane (Morphettville Race 6 No. 2):
This five-year-old Shamus Award gelding trained by Will Clarken is the early favourite in this four-year-olds and upwards BM 68 handicap for entires and geldings over 1200m. He was a narrow winner over 1600m at Morphettville on 21 August, then was the early leader before finishing 5.7 lengths 6th over 1550m at Morphettville Parks on 4 September. Rises in weight and I’m willing to risk him here.
