Heka Express (Murray Bridge Race 1 No. 5)
In form mare who has won her last two starts. This five-year-old trained by G & N Searle & B Callanan has eight wins and six places from 28 starts. She drew clear for a 1.2 length win over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 4 December, then settled well back in the field before taking over at the 200m and racing away for a 3.2 length win over 1000m at Murray Bridge at her first race at this track on 1 January. She can make it a hat-trick of wins here.

They Call Me Alvin (Murray Bridge Race 4 No. 3):
This three-year-old Zebedee gelding trained by Shane Oxlade has one win and two places from four starts and all his races have been at this track. At the end of his 2YO campaign he was held up from the 400-250m then winded right out in the straight to finish 9 lengths 7th over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 3 July before a 26 week spell. When resuming he dropped out to last approaching the turn, then worked home solidly for 2.6 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 1 January. The extra distance should suit and he looks a great each-way chance.

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race program on ANZAC Day. The feature races include the Anzac Day Stakes (race 5) and the Vrc St Leger (race 6). The best bet comes up in race 4 and looks to be a very promising type who can justify its odds on quote. Best Bet Liberty State (Flemington Race 4 No. 9) A lot to like about the last 2 wins this prep including a lass start 5 length romping in a

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race card on Anzac Day. The best bet got too far back on career start number 2 but hit the line hard and looks to get things to suit in its upcoming run. Best Bet Wembanyama (Randwick Race 8 No. 4) Loved the way it hit the line last start when not suited coming from barrier 12 on the tight Wyong track. Drawn better in this, maps for a lovely run and has the

Key Comments The track is rated Soft and the rail is +3 metres from the 1550m to 500m and true for the remainder. Best Bet Dreamzel (Mount Gambier Race 1 No. 7) Dreamzel ran 2nd on debut at Ballarat and has only had 2 runs. Resumes from a 20 week break and gets a 3kg claim. Hard to beat. Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
