This four-year-old I Am Invincible mare has had two wins and a place from 10 starts. At the end of last campaign she was winded late for 13.6 lengths 9th on a heavy track over 1400m at Gold Coast on 12 June, then she resumed after 31 weeks with a huge 5.5 length win over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on a soft track on 17 January. She should be hard to beat.

Black Whitto (Ipswich Race 6 No. 2):
This four-year-old Whittington gelding has a win and three places from 10 starts. He loomed strongly at the top of the straight but tired in the final 75m for 1, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Beaudesert on 28 December, then was caught wide with no cover and fought on for 1.8, 0.1 length 3rd over 1400m at Dalby on 22 Janaury. He won’t be far away and is worth an each-way bet.

Twelve Apostles (Ipswich Race 7 No. 11):
This three-year-old Nicconi gelding is the early favourite in this C,G&E 0-65 handicap over 1200m. He is a nicely bred youngster who has only had one start where he led all the way and held off a late challenge for a 0.21 length win in a maiden handicap over 1300m at Ballina on 15 January. He is up against horses with a lot more race experience and I am happy to risk him here.
