This five-year-old mare has won 5 of her 9 starts. She resumed after 40 weeks off the track for a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Ipswich on 19 August where she survived a protest, then she ran on best to win by a narrow margin over 1200m at Doomben on 5 September. She is looking for a hat-trick here and looks well-placed.

Pure Deal (Eagle Farm Race 6 No. 5):
This three-year-old Dundeel gelding didn’t win or place at this first four starts, but once he was stepped up to the 1800m distance he won two in a row. He ran on strongly at the end to win by 0.8 length over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on 23 August, then split the leaders at the 200m and edged ahed late for a 0.4 length win over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on 6 September. He looks worth an each-way bet.
