Our Beaudesert Horse Racing Tips for Tuesday’s meeting.

Boom Spender (Beaudesert Race 1 No. 1)
This three-year-old Spirit Of Boom gelding has had two wins and two places from nine starts, including a win at Eagle Farm this campaign. He jumped awkwardly and was near the tail of the field before battling on out wide for 3.2 lengths 5th over 1200m at Doomben on 30 December, then he fought on for 3, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 14 January. He can handle soft going and should go well.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Prince Of Arran (Beaudesert Race 5  No. 2):
This six-year-old Nadeem gelding has three wins and 12 places from 35 starts. He tracked up from the 600m, hit the front at the 150m and kept going for a 1.23 length win over 1600m at Ballina on 8 December, then got a long way back and didn’t run on in the straight for 7.83 lengths 8th over 1590m at Ballina on 3 January. Jaden Lloyd retains the ride and he has placed at both his previous outings to this track. Looks worth an each-way bet.

Leo The Lion (Beaudesert Race 4  No. 3):
This four-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this maiden plate over 1650m. He has had 17 starts for a 2nd place and a 3rd place. He plugged away for 7 lengths 9th over 1350m at Ipswich on 1 January, then led on the rails but was swamped the final 100m for 1.9 lengths 5th over 1350m at Ipswich on 16 January. I really hope he manages to win a race soon, but I don’t think it will be this one.

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +1 metre the entire circuit.
