Zoustyle (Sunshine Coast Race 7 No. 2)
This six-year-old Zoustar gelding has seven wins and a place from 11 starts, including three wins on soft going. At the end of last campaign he finished 3.3 lengths 7th in the Group 3 2020 Maurice McCarten Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill on 14 March, then was spelled for 27 weeks. He resumed with a powerful 2.3 length win over 900m at Gold Coast on 19 September 2020, and hasn’t raced since then (61 weeks) but won an Eagle Farm trial on 26 October. Should win.

Heaven Amore (Sunshine Coast Race 3 No. 12):
This five-year-old Savabeel mare trained by Kelly Schweida has two wins and four places from 10 starts. She hit the front at the 250m and held on for a 0.3 length win over 1650m at Doomben on a soft track on 13 October, then fought on for 2.5 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 2 November. Has been in the trifecta at all four starts this campaign and looks a good each-way chance here.

Darleb (Sunshine Coast Race 5 No. 4):
This five-year-old Uncle Mo horse from the Kris Lees stable is the early favourite in this BM 75 Handicap over 1400m. He worked home for 0.6 length 3rd in the Jungle Juice Cup over 1350m at Newcastle on 25 October, then chased hard for 0.6 lengths 2nd over 1350m at Wyong on 6 November, with the best lasy 800m race sectional of the day. There are several last-start winners in the race and he carries 4kg more than last start, so I’m prepared to risk him.
