Our Gold Coast Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Jadentom (Gold Coast Race 7 No. 4)
This seven-year-old Rothesay mare trained by Lindsay Hatch at Toowoomba has 12 wins and six places from 29 starts and has won on heavy going. She was held up at the 300m and took a run between horses at the 250m then hit the front at the 100m and ran away for a 2.25 length win over 1200m at Doomben on 10 October, then was caught wide and ran on for 0.5, 0.4 lengths 3rd in a Listed fillies and mares race over 1200m at Doomben on 28 November. Resuming here after 15 weeks she has won 5 of her 7 first-up starts, has a great record at this distance, and looks the likely winner.

I’ve Gotta Nell (Gold Coast Race 3 No. 3):
This seven-year-old Sequalo gelding has a great record at this track with four wins and three places from nine starts here. He faded in the straight for 1.65 lengths 4th over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 20 February, then led from the 800m and won by a comfortable 2.5 length margin over 1100m at Gold Coast on 6 March. He is on a short back-up of seven days and looks a great each-way bet on a track where he goes so well.

Ventura Ocean  (Gold Coast Race 9 No. 9):
This Raven’s Pass gelding trained by Kris Lees is the early favourite in this BM 85 handicap over 1300m. He is a British import who has only had one start in Australia for a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 20 February. He has not won second-up before and has no form on heavy going. With so many unknowns he looks a risk here and other runners offer better value..

Horse Racing Tips: HK Wednesday 24th April 2024

Key Comments There is a 9-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail is in the C+3 position for the meeting, and there is heavy rain forecast in the lead-up so the track could deteriorate. The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 8.40pm AEST. Best Bet Snowalot (Happy Valley Race 6 No. 2) Snowalot was a 0.5 length winner at this track and distance last start after being taken back from a wide barrier and running on

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race card on Anzac Day. The best bet got too far back on career start number 2 but hit the line hard and looks to get things to suit in its upcoming run. Best Bet Wembanyama (Randwick Race 8 No. 4) Loved the way it hit the line last start when not suited coming from barrier 12 on the tight Wyong track. Drawn better in this, maps for a lovely run and has the

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race program on ANZAC Day. The feature races include the Anzac Day Stakes (race 5) and the Vrc St Leger (race 6). The best bet comes up in race 4 and looks to be a very promising type who can justify its odds on quote. Best Bet Liberty State (Flemington Race 4 No. 9) A lot to like about the last 2 wins this prep including a lass start 5 length romping in a

Horse Racing Tips: SA Wednesday 24th April 2024

Key Comments The track is rated Soft and the rail is +3 metres from the 1550m to 500m and true for the remainder. Best Bet Dreamzel (Mount Gambier Race 1 No. 7) Dreamzel ran 2nd on debut at Ballarat and has only had 2 runs. Resumes from a 20 week break and gets a 3kg claim. Hard to beat.
