This Nicconi mare has three wins and three places from her six starts and can handle all types of going. She began well and hit the front at the 300m but then was headed at the 150m and faded for 0.8 lengths, 0.1 length 3rd over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 15 July, then blundered at the start but caught up, took over at the 100m and pulled away for a 1.25 length win over 1200m at Doomben on 22 August. She is the testing material here and should win again.

The Actuary (Doomben Race 4 No. 1):
This Sebring filly resumes here and was in great form before a 12 week let-up. She ran on best for a narrow win over 1350m at Doomben on 3 June, then struck a bit of trouble but still managed to win by 1.25 lengths in the Listed The Phoenix 2-Y-O plate over 1615m at Doomben on 20 June. She has had a recent trial and looks a good each-way bet resuming here.

Napoleon Solo (Doomben Race 6 No. 4):
This Uncle Mo gelding is the early favourite in this BM 78 handicap over 1600m. He battled on for 4.4 lengths 4th over 1350m at Doomben on 5 August, then he chased hard but faded latwe for 1.25 lengths , 0.1 length 3rd over 1600m at Doomben on 5 September. He is on a seven day back-up but this is a very open race and others are better value.

Best Bet Je Reve (Gosford Race 1 No. 2) Has been around the mark all runs this prep and couldn't sustain a fast pace last run. Gosford should suit this front runner and does have 2 placings from 3 goes over this trip. Reith hops aboard for the first time and his 3yo Gelding is
