Horse Racing Tips: Sha Tin, 18th June 2023

Our Sha Tin Horse Racing Tips for Sunday’s meeting.

Best Bet

Flying Ace (Sha Tin Race 10 No.2)

This 5YO Swiss Ace gelding has 4 wins and 2 places from 7 starts, with 3 of those wins at this track and distance combination. Last start he raced wide without cover to finish 0.9 lengths 3rd behind Golden Empire on 4th June. He’s drawn wide but Zac Purton should give him every chance.

Best Each Way

Blue Marlin  (Sha Tin Race 7 No. 1)

This 4YO Capitalist gelding is lightly raced but looks to have loads of ability. He was a 0.8 length winner at this track ad distance on 23 April, then was 0.4 length 3rd in a driving finish at this track and distance on 28 May. Barrier 14 is not ideal but he ran 3rd last start from barrier 13 and looks a good each-way bet.

Best Bet Prophet Of Boom (Gatton Race 2 No. 12) Won here 2 starts ago then was steadily winding up when 1.2 lengths 4th over 1400m last start. This distance looks suitable and he has strong claims.
