Diamond City returns to the races and looks nicely placed in this field. Last seen running 4th in open company with Zougotcha not far off in front of it. That kind of form looks far too good for a BM60 and it trialled nicely behind Mazu the other day. Well placed.

Essential Sky is the one to beat in this field. Its last run in a highway was more than a pass mark for this kind of race. Jeff Penza is 2/4 aboard and it handles the heavy conditions just fine. The $2.90 appeals.

Allgemeine (Canberra Race 7 No. 10)
Happy to take on the favourite in this race. It likes the track and trip and gets a nice weight drop but Ten Bells brings in some stronger form and there is some quality gallopers in this field. The $2.50 is short enough in this field.
