I’m keen to bet into two games this week.
Fremantle Dockers v Western Bulldogs (Friday Night)
This is a really interesting clash to start round 6 in the West on Friday night. Whilst there is still a lot of footy to be played in season 23 I feel like this is almost a must win for either of these sides to play finals footy. Fremantle kicked into gear late in the game to get over the Suns last week and notch up their second win of the season but were pretty ordinary in the first half and I am still far from sold on them. Apart from the odd quarter here or there they have been really poor this year. The Dogs played pretty well for the first three quarters against the Power before a few costly mistakes late in the piece. Whilst the Dockers have the home ground advantage the Bulldogs travel quite well and I think they represent some value as an outsider in this.

Carlton Blues v St Kilda Saint (Sunday Afternoon)
Was very surprised to see Carlton come up favourite in this game. Despite finding themselves in the top 4 after five rounds the Blues only just seem to be going at the moment and have some key injuries with Docherty still missing and Saad set to miss with injury. St Kilda on the other hand have some key personnel back – the captain Jack Steele and forward Tim Membrey are likely to return to the side. The Blues spread is where they struggle and the Saints have the weapons to expose it.
