The 2007 Schweppes Sydney Cup Day is to be held at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney. The Group 1 feature handicap race will run over 3200m on the 14 April 2007 and the winner will claim a prize of $800,000. The Sydney Cup has been running since 1866, with the event having a mix of a carnivale atmosphere and fantastic racing. Last year the handicap race was won by County Tyrone riden by Jim Cassidy.
