Australian Cup winning jockey Nicholas Hall has been dumped by connections of star sprinter All Silent who is heading to Dubai for a crack at the $1million Al Quoz Stakes which is run on turf over 1200m.
Connections are allegedly unhappy with his rides aboard the boom sprinter when he finished out of the money in Hong Kong late last year and again in the Newmarket Handicap.
Interesting observation by connections of the Newmarket form with all the horses up on the pace filling the places while All Silent is a noted backmarker.
Meanwhile, Hall notched his fourth Group 1 win of the season on Saturday aboard the old warhorse Zipping who finally cracked it for a much deserved Group 1 win.
Having accumulated more than $3million in prizemoney, it was rather bemusing that the 8YO had never won a Group 1 race before edging out the Bart Cummings trained Sirmione by the bearest possible margin at Flemington on Saturday.
