Get ready folks as the 2007 Melbourne Cup is getting set to begin. Known as ‘the race that stops the nation’ the Melbourne Cup is easily the highlight of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. The 3200m Group 1 event will take place at Flemington Racecourse on 6 November 2007 with the winner taking home more than $5 million in prize money.
