The date has finally been set for one of the biggest and most highly anticipated fights in Australian Boxing history. The two superstars of Australian boxing, Anthony Mundine & Danny Green will finally square up on the 17th May 2006 to find out who is the true super middleweight champion.
This fight has been talked about for almost a year now and the fans of both Anthony ‘The Man’ Mundine and Danny ‘The Green Machine’ Green will finally get what they have waiting for… one of the biggest showdown’s in Australian Boxing history. The fight is to be held at Aussie Stadium in Sydney with an anticipated crowd of up to 40,000 attending. There will be no doubt many thousands more viewers throughout Australia catching all the action live on Pay TV.
