The final field and barrier draw has now been released for this Saturday’s Group 1 George Main Stakes which this year will be run at Rosehill Racecourse over 1500m instead of the usual mile at Randwick. It will be only a small field for the 2011 George Main Stakes with only 8 horses accepting for a spot. The early betting markets have seen this years Stradbroke Handicap winner Sincero start as the clear favourite with some bookies predicting he will move into odds-on prices before the jump on Saturday. The Grahame Begg 2011 Cox Plate hopeful Ilovethiscity looks to be the main danger although his previous run in the Sebring Sprint was lacklustre to say the least.
