2010 World Cup Semi-Finals – July 7th & 8th

Only four teams are left to fight it out to be winners of the 2010 World Cup and the two semi-final matches will be held at 4.30 am on Wednesday 7^th and Thursday 8^th July Australian time. It will take a dedicated sports fan to watch both matches plus the third and final game of State of Origin which is on Wednesday night.

World Cup Semi-Final 1: Uruguay vs Netherlands

Uruguay will play the Netherlands at 8.30pm on 6 July South Africa time (4.30am 7 July AEST) at Green Point Stadium in Cape Town. This is a semi-final contest very few would have predicted but both teams have performed consistently well. In 2010 the Netherlands have played nine matches for nine wins, while Uruguay have won five and drawn two of seven matches in 2010.
