After a well fought season the Hyundai A league Finals Series will swing into action on the 26 January 2007 and will conclude with the Grand Final match on the 18 February 2007. The series will give the top sides a chance to prove their worth and demonstrate the teamwork and skill needed to end the season in the top four.
It will be a test to see if Melbourne Victory lead by Merrick will be able to retain their superiority which we have seen over the season. Or will Adelaide United who have had a late season run towards the top of the league table be able to challenge Melbourne Victory? Other contenders will include Sydney, Queensland Roar and possibly the Newcastle Jets depending on their end of season form.
