The 2006 Formula 1 season commenced on Sunday with the first race of the year held in Bahrain.
This season would have to be one of the biggest shake ups seen for a number of years with plenty of new teams, new drivers and team colors all the way down pit lane.
After many years of Ferrari dominance and then a first class performance by Renault in 2005, the results from Bahrain indicate that a number of teams and drivers have plenty of pace to fight for the 2006 drivers and constructors Championship.
