The Australian racing industry hosts a number of racing carnivals throughout the year which boast some of the top group races featuring the best horses going around.
Arguably the biggest carnival of them all is the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival which features numerous group 1 races including Cox Plate, Caulfield Cup and of course the race that stops the nation the Melbourne Cup.
